Alessandra armchair:

Javier Errando Mariscal (1950) is a multidisciplinary Spanish designer. Is the creator of Cobi, the mascot for the Barcelona 1992 Olympic Games.Mariscal creates through a personal language, complex in its intention and simple in its manifestation, innocent and provocative at the same time, which serves to innovate, take risks and communicate. To formalise the Alessandra armchair, the design was inspired by organic shapes, fleeing from straight lines and from geometry. It plays with collage, with the cutting up of shapes and patchwork technique. It's a piece of furniture that transcend their function: It has been conceived more as an image than as pure volume. It express a way of thinking and relating to the user and the space that he or she inhabits. This is why their appearance is so impacting and, in the end, so timeless.
